Quite interesting news this is, after we heard about Seagate offering 3TB drives in their NAS solutions. Rumours has it that Western Digital will also be offering 3TB drives to retail soon, as in very soon.
WD has been struggling to make 3TB and above drives to work with 32-bit version of operating systems, as there has been known compatibility issues surrounding it. Since WD is gearing up for a full scale launch of new 3TB models, we can safely assume that they’ve successfully solved the compatibility issue. Read more…
It is already know that Intel will be launching their Sandy Bridge processors early next year, but those that you’ll find in stores will only be Socket 1155 processors. Cortex A15, or Eagle, is the name of ARM’s next generation microarchitecture. After Cortex A9, Eagle will raise the bar further with up to four physical cores and clock frequencies up to 2.5 GHz. ARM confirms that it is working on a multi-threading technology to follow Cortex A15. Audi has debut the Quattro concept car at the Paris Motor Show in conjunction to celebrate its famous all-wheel-drive system’s 30th anniversary. The concept is inspired from the original 1980 Audi Ur-Quattro, and also shares some design cues from the current RS5. The Quattro concept features a shortened wheelbase, lower roofline, and a sub-3,000 pound curb weight, as the original also weighted in under 3,000 pounds. Read more…
