Moleskine has just announced their new Digital Covers case lineup for your iDevices. But the funny part is, these cases even come with a regular writing pad, or notebook paper, and a slot for either your iPad or iPhone. They somehow increase your intelligence by over nine thousand. Might be relevant for your iPad, but I don’t see the same for your iPhone. Talking on a book? No thanks!

Seagate seemed to be eager to dominate the hard drive sector, and their new product certainly will help a lot. Seagate’s reached the 3TB capacity with a single five-platter drive, and is throwing it into the NAS. Though you can’t buy a 3TB Barracuda XT all by its lonesome, you can today order four of them direct from Seagate in a BlackArmor NAS 440 with RAID 5, for the presumably reasonable price of $1,899. If that’s too rich for your local area network’s blood, however, we hear there’ll also be a 6TB NAS 220 unit with a pair of disks for something under $650. Let’s just hope the giant fan on the back of this box keeps those suckers cool, and enjoy torrenting.

What does the above picture looks to you? Miniature and unfinished Strike Gundam, or the robot used by Morpheus in Matrix? It reminds me of the classic Mospeada, though it shorts on wheels. This is an exoskeleton BattleMech designed specifically for children, by Sakakibara Kikai. Yes, it’s Japanese. What are you expecting, mate? It’s called the Kid’s Walker, and it walks. That’s all. No bullets, no flamethrower, and no nuclear-power. Read more…

14-Megapixel camera should be a common sight, right? They even tried to advertise it with words like “real” 14-Megapixel CCD with “real” 3x optical zoom, and also 720p video. But what’s so special about Altek’s new product? It’s Android-based, and they’re selling it as a smartphone! Read more…

Have you ever thought how safe your iPhone is? No biggie if you jailbreak it? Many people use their iPhone for many purposes. Business, online, Facebook, emails, online shopping. You name it; most probably iPhone can do it. But what if suddenly people tell you that it’s not safe to do it? Read more…

These days’ gamers rarely use mouse bungees anymore, as more and more wireless gaming mouse are released with advance technology and zero lag, but Razer think otherwise. They’ve teamed up with Mouse Bungee – the company itself – to design a ‘bungee’ to keep your mouse’s cord off your desk and not impede on your freedom of movement in any way when you’re taking down that annoying kid. All these are done thanks to suitably springy suspension mechanism and a sturdy, non-slip base. Read more…

Not only the nowire lamps look like delicious giant Oreos, but they can attach to any surface using a built-in suction cup and charge wirelessly using any Powermat surface.
This awesome lamp is created by Spanish designers Eduardo Tapiador, Lucia Mateo and Leticia Rodríguez, but before you go screaming ‘awesomeness’ and feels hungry looking at them, I had to say that the lamps have no price yet. There goes your dream of redecorating your house in Oreo-theme. Read more…

Now this is awesome fashion. German designer Dayne Jewell thinks that an oversized leather holster would be great to hold your gadgets, keys, cigarettes, credit cards, headphones and your Colt 45, and not get robbed. Well, looking at the photos, it seems he’s absolutely right. Now the big question: How do you sit without taking it off?

Facebook. I think by now most people would have their own account. It’s a great way to share your thoughts, and your lovely photos with your friends, only if you know how to set your privacy settings correctly, efficiently. Sharing photos in Facebook is awesome, as your friends can easily view it at any time, but quality wise, it’s not so great to say the least. But well, that’s all about to change.
The company has announced that it’ll be rolling out high resolution photo uploading to all of its users over the coming weeks. Users will be able to upload and store photos that are eight (8) times larger than the current allowed photos (720 pixels). Besides, the photo viewer will be upgraded to have a light-box feel, with black background, for better viewing experience. Now that’s a great addition. Great news, no doubt, for those of us who just couldn’t stand another low res shot of someone’s baby doing something silly. But how bout those people using “slowband”?

And here I thought manufacturers had stopped producing notebooks (or real tablets, that’s what we call them back then) like this. They’re thick, and ugly. But Panasonic seemed not to give up on this classic design, or should I say their design team is rather dated. Nevertheless, it’s a Toughbook, so it’s built to be tough, and usually tough does not share the same sentence with beauty. This new CF-C1 convertible tablet boasts a resistive touchscreen which will register gloved presses, and comes with accidental damage warranties for extra coverage in non-traditional work environments. Specwise, the Toughbook’s got a very healthy 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 CPU, a host of hard drive options, plus 3G, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. Other rugged / business features include a spill-proof keyboard and security features for multiple users. The Windows 7 CF-C1 is available now in the UK for £1,709 (that’s around $2,700).
