How do you show off to the whole world when you are about to launch a new smart phone? Apple does it by making fun of other phones. Well for Nokia, they do it by playing ‘Prince of Persia’ movie on the world’s biggest cinema screen, from their Nokia N8. The screen is at 1,428 square meters, which is barely bigger than the previous record holder of 1,338 square meters. Of course, the N8 wasn’t able to project the Prince of Persia movie all by itself, so Nokia took advantage of the phone’s HDMI output to connect four 140-kilogram XLM HD30 projectors — no doubt another first for a cellphone. Yes, Nokia N8 is great, but I don’t want to show my MP4 on the world’s biggest screen. I only want to watch it at home. Now, why Price of Persia?

Lotus had a blast at the Paris Motor Show 2010. They reviewed a massive five lineup of new concept cars that seemed to be very production ready, though most of them will only come in two to four years. Let’s have a look at them, and see which your favourite is.
May I say that this is one hell of an ugly speaker? But it’ll scare some little girls away too or maybe some cats too. The AudioRock from Klipsch is an add-on speaker, which allows you to expand the wireless Klipsch LightSpeaker System into the great outdoors, without the hassle of purchasing an A/V receiver or running any speaker wire underground. The AudioRock features a built-in wireless receiver that syncs up with the LightSpeaker’s powerful 2.4GHz wireless transmitter. You can connect two music sources (i.e. iPod, PC or TV) to the transmitter, as well as establish two separate listening zones. In other words, you can enjoy jazz in the kitchen with the LightSpeaker and hip hop on the patio with the AudioRock. Optimally tuned for open-air environments, the AudioRock delivers balanced stereo sound over a wide listening area. Inside its UV-protected enclosure, the Klipsch AudioRock employs dual 0.75-inch polypropylene tweeters for crisp highs and a dual voice coil 5.25-inch injection molded polypropylene woofer for deep lows. These high and low-frequency drivers sit at a 20-degree upward angle to ensure great sound performance when placed at ground level. Surely would look good in your restaurant, if it’s themed like a forest, or Halloween.

They said that it’s done to celebrate the marque’s 75th anniversary, but who knows, they might just be jealous of Porsche’s 918 Spyder. I mean, usually when you’re celebrating an anniversary, don’t you go and order a cake or something?
Ok, let’s cut the joke and have a look at this new sexy concept from the panther onca. Jaguar has revealed the C-X75 Concept car at the Paris Motor Show. Remember yesterday we talked about an iPad with Google’s Chromium OS swimming in it? Some might be sceptical about that, but now Hexxeh, who did the magic, will also remove your sceptical cat in you with this video. The demo might not be the best demo around, but it does show touch sensitivity functioning, and funnily a mouse cursor running around.
Some lucky hardware tester had their paws on the upcoming HTC Spark, and showed off the Windows Phone 7 with HTC Hub in action. They sure are naughty, and posted some gooding photos for us to get drooling and in jealousy.
Now this is something very unique and rare. Have you ever tried playing games or watching movie by connecting your desktop to your huge LCD TV? I’ve tried before, and I’m annoyed by the long cables. Very messy. But now, Galaxy has done us a huge favour. Their new Galaxy GTX 460 WHDI Edition supports a built-in wireless streaming that will send any video content to your TV. There is a wireless receiver that allows your TV to receive the streamed video. The Galaxy GTX 460 WHDI Edition also provides an HDMI, a DVI, and a DisplayPort outputs and five antennas for a robust wireless connection. Too bad, there is no info on pricing at this time. Sucks right, to know that this thing exist, but you just can’t get hold of one. You won’t need the Western Digital External HDD Media Player anymore, since you can directly stream movies to your LCD TV.
My hectic technician friend would love this thing. It’s called the Triple SATA HDD Multi-Function Dock, from Brando, which allows you to plug any 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA hard drive to your computer via USB port at the same time. The device also functions as a 2-port USB hub and a multi-card reader. Additionally, the Brando Triple SATA HDD Multi-Function Dock is compatible with both Mac and PC platforms. If you are interested, you can purchase this gadget for only $55 each.
