This Camioncyclette looks like my mum’s old bicycle. Except that this had too many baskets attached. Or is it? The designer, Christophe Machet, calls it “a transportation bicycle”. But it’s able to carry up to 330 pounds in those yellowish mesh baskets. Are you sure this is not an oversize shopping cart with wheels and a seat?

The wheels are small, which gives more space for cargo and also makes it easier to get moving and to maneuverer. The bike uses disk-brakes so you can stop in time however loaded-up you are so that you won’t crush into that pretty lady. And it appears to be a single-speed or use internal hub-gears, keeping things simple. But without any gears, and riding such heavy loads, I don’t think it’ll be an easy feat. Finally, a proper two-legged stand in the centre means you can actually load and unload the thing without it toppling over. Alright, let’s do some wheelie on this thing!
