Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T.9 Wireless Gaming Mouse very robotic

Mad Catz is no new kid when it comes to gaming peripherals, and now they have a new (though awkward looking) gaming mouse to rival those snakes from Razer, and Steelseries’s Xai, and not to forget the Thundercat-inspired Roccat. Their new rat called the Cyborg R.A.T.9 is a wireless gaming mouse, and as the name sounds, it does look like a robotic mouse.

It’s a wireless mouse that utilizes 2.4GHz wireless technology, which they proclaim an estimated latency of less than 1 millisecond. This gaming mouse is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack that provides up to 9-hour of gaming time per full charge. Boasting a stylish desktop charging unit which also holds up to 42 grams of removable weights, the R.A.T.9 is highly customizable to suit your gaming needs. The Cyborg R.A.T.9 also features an interchangeable palm rest, adjustable pinkie grips, and adjustable length, width and height settings. Too bad, the device is only compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7, Vista and XP operating systems. Mac gamers would be rather sad. But nevermind that, this rat doesn’t have any multitouch so we will just assume that you do not have any interest in it. The Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T.9 wireless gaming mouse retails for $149.99 for each tail.
