Verbatim announces new MediaShare Mini NAS

When it comes to NAS, Seagate and Western Digital comes to mind. But not Verbatim, who fiddles around with memories of people instead of your porn collection. But now, they’ve thrown in a new challenger to the market by introducing this MediaShare Mini NAS.

The MediaShare Mini NAS is not the first NAS to come from Verbatim. However, it is indeed smaller than its predecessor, a third the size of it in fact. But being small, you can only plug in your thumb drives into the four USB ports that came along with it, as there’s no onboard storage. One thing good though is that they support remote access via HTTP, support for a number of handhelds (including the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, BlackBerry, Android, and Palm Pre), Facebook integration, DLNA-compliant media streaming, and more. Look for it now for an MSRP of $90.
