Dell spin my head right round right round

Yes, finally here comes Dell’s screen-flipping Duo tablet cum netbook. This ‘spinning’ netbook will be shipping on the 23rd of November. The Dell Inspiron Duo is a very unique 10,1-inch tablet netbook hybrid, packing a dual-core Intel Atom H550 processor, 2GB of RAM, a Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator for your Full HD needs, some 250GB of storage for your porn and presentation, and a Windows 7 Home Premium to boot with. Bigger hard drive seems to be optional from Dell. The company has also teamed up with JBL speaker to provide a JBL speaker dock for your Inspiron Duo, so that you can show off to your iPad friends that your tablet hybrid also has a dock. Feels good right?

Now what is this hybrid thing? First off, the screen can be spin to face outward or inward (facing you), just like how Acer’s webcam used to spin in and out. Flip the Inspiron Duo’s screen outward, and close the lid while the screen is still facing outward, and you’ve got yourself a very slim tablet (at least not as fat as those old school tablets)! Once in slate-mode, the Inspiron Duo automatically launches Dell’s Duo Stage UI interface, so that you can enjoy the capacitive touchscreen with 1,366 x 768 resolutions. The Duo Stage UI interface provides access to Dell’s MusicStage, VideoStage, PhotoStage, and BookStage applications, and will surely give you a good ‘fingering’ experience.

The hybrid tablet will cost you £449 or $549 if you’re in the States, and the dock will add up to about $649 of the total price.
