AOC has introduced a new 19-inch affordable LCD monitor, called the AOC 931SWL. Priced at just USD 99, this is essentially an 18.5-inch TN panel monitor with 1366 x 768 resolutions, so it does not display Full HD resolutions, despite having 16:9 widescreen aspect ratios. The monitor does however come with some decent quality, with 5ms response time, a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and 200 cd/m2 brightness, though I won’t say that’s very good. Usually I’d prefer monitors with 300 cd/m2 brightness for gaming and movie watching. The monitor comes with 15-pin D-Sub connectivity, so you still don’t get DVI connectivity with such budget price.
