Apple has given the Apple TV an update to 4.1. With the update to 4.1, your AppleTV will happily play along with your iOS 4.2 devices through AirPlay, so that you can do things in style. You know, choose what movie you want to watch on your iPad, and watch it on your huge ass 50-inch 3DTV. Life just feels awesome right? All thanks to Apple for the crazy ideas. The new update also lets AppleTV have VoiceOver support for spoken menus and meta data.
Russian president Mr Dmitry Medvedev went for a ‘field trip’ to South Korea to seek investment and trade opportunities. On his visit, he also stopped by Samsung’s plants, and bought a Galaxy Tab while at there. Sadly, Mr Dmitry doesn’t seem to be rather happy with the camera of the Tab, as he recently tweeted at his certified Twitter account. Obviously, the Tab’s camera cannot be compared with the Leica M9, which he owns. He seemed to prefer the M9’s capability more, no surprise.
Yes, finally after some bugs and caterpillars, Apple has let the much anticipated iOS 4.2 go live. The iOS 4.2 will gladly make home at your iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4, besides the iPads. iPod touches (second, third, and fourth generation) will also receive this update, giving them the much awaited multitasking and app folder enhancements to the tablets and touches. The update has a size of 624MB, so have fun updating. The server is kind of hogged now and we’re getting some errors. Probably will wait till tonight to try again. Read more…

Here’s something you don’t get to see every day. Robots are no stranger to games of chess, but when they put up a good fight to a human, things get rather tense; especially the human counterpart is a World Chess Champion from 2006 to 2007. Vladimir Kramnik gave a good challenge to the robot, albeit he took it rather relaxingly.
If you’re asked what catches a man’s eye in the real world, you don’t need any high-tech gadgets and some crazy formula to give that answer. Some big balloons would be the answer, unless of course your name is Justin Bieber. But then, what attracts a person of a car? Mercedes-Benz was curious too of what the commoners see in their car. So, so it hired a team of scientists equipped with fancy camera-equipped glasses and unleashed a few unsuspecting test subjects on a quick walk-around the new CLS.
What’d they find? It seemed, our eyes are immediately drawn to traits like the arching roof line, long hood and unique body contours down each flank. Surprise, surprise, we know. And what draws our eye in the opposite sex? Well, we’ll just let you watch the video after the jump to figure that one out for yourself. Unlike the CLS, the answer may actually surprise you. It’ll be very interesting to install this ‘camera-thing’ on some group of guys.
Though that your old Palm device is outdated by now? Well hold your horse as Palm developer advocate Josh Marinacci has announced on stage at webOS Developer Days in New York that webOS 2.0 will be coming to “all” Palm devices in “the coming months.” There’s no specify of which Palm devices, but probably those legacy ones are out of the list. It would be a very big surprise and laugh if your Treo 650 or Palm 3 is still around and alive. Mr Marinacci would most probably be referring to those Pre, Pixi, Pre Plus, and Pixi Plus.
