All the ‘fun’ of Kinect Accidents

When Wii was launched, we saw many funny videos of users getting into accidents when using the WiiMote. Most of it involves the WiiMote destroying their televisions. The “Kinect Fail” is starting to appear in YouTube in some good numbers. Microsoft recommends gamers clear enough space to use Kinect and make sure there is proper distance between the players. You should also look where you’re swinging your arms, just in case. Here’s some examples.

AMD promises Radeon HD 6900 available for your Christmas

Wanted a HD 6900 card but got distracted by that bloody gorgeous GTX580 from the green camp? Well, let’s head back to the dark side guys, as AMD has just comforted all you red devils. The latest word from its PR mouthpiece is that the highly anticipated Radeon HD 6970 and HD 6950 will be unveiled just in time for your white Christmas. Fudzilla has heard directly from the Radeon team, who say they’re “going to take a bit more time before shipping the AMD Radeon HD 6900 series.” The NDA is expected to lift on the week beginning December 13th, but don’t expect wide availability despite the reviews out and the launching running. Just give your wallet some more time to think before choosing the fastest DirectX 11 card from the green camp, or the mysterious Cayman card from the dark side.

Just another day, so let’s… not forget it!

If you go to Apple’s homepage now, you’ll see this new splash screen teasing an “exciting announcement from iTunes”. Not sure what’s it about, but surely it’s related to iTunes and the stores. However, Apple didn’t throw at conference to any bloggers and reporters, so it shouldn’t be something really big, like a new white phone. Fancy a Sir Richard Branson serving you in your flight, in a red dress?

Publicity stunt? Hell yeah baby, bring it on! It’s good to know that healthy competition leads to some cute yet healthy bets, even in such a high profile corporate. Earlier this year, a few newcomers joined the lucrative Formula One championship, and among them are airline big boys Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Airlines, and Tony Fernandes of AirAsia. It’s a battle of the newcomers, and to spice things up Richard Branson challenge Tony Fernandes into an F1 bet of cross-dressing for the loser, where the loser will don a stewardess outfit of the rival airline and serve passengers onboard. Samsung Galaxy S getting the Froyo breakfast meal

Finally, Samsung is giving its “iPhone 4 killer” the fair share of Froyo, while many manufacturers are still stuck at Éclair or even older ones. But this comes as Google is just about to announce the availability of Gingerbread (Android 2.3), and Samsung’s replacement for the Galaxy S, the Nexus S. Well, at least you’ve got your bragging rights for at least a year now.

Top Gear track in Gran Turismo 5

Yes, Gran Turismo 5 is late, very late. And while many will be playing cops and thieves in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit which will be shipping tomorrow, here’s something to chill you guys out if you’re still camping for GT5 instead of Hot Pursuit. Probably you can blame this video too, because some says that it’s this track’s rendering that’s delaying the game, and also that the poly-triangles on the helmet of the Stig is more than the poly of all the premium supercars in GT5 combined.
