Facebook is yet again holding a closed-door news conference, and this time rumour has it that it’s adorned with some pretty obvious visual hints at mail and messaging. TechCrunch has a though, that Zuckerberg and crew might be unveiling their Project Titan email client. Rumoured to have been in the works since at least February, this “full-fledged” webmail service — replete with @facebook.com personal addresses — is reportedly referred to as a “Gmail killer” internally. Well, another mail server is not a bad thing since competition is good for consumers, but then this is a company that has more information about us than it should.

AMD has reportedly delayed the release of their highly anticipated Cayman card, the HD 6970 graphic card, cited issued with manufacturing problems. Here’s another gadget that’s getting its dose of Android-ness. NEC’s LifeTouch Android tablet isn’t your ordinary tablet, but more of a communicator. Dubbed the “cloud communicator suited for corporate customers”, I’m not sure how that’s going to work at all. Yes, hacking sounds very bad, but there’s always ethnic hacking, which they call “For the Greater Good of Humanity”. Sounds very holy right? Anyway, before this people have been able to hack the Wiimote for all sorts of funky and cool projects, and now it’s the Kinect’s turn. Google’s Nexus One has been killed off ever since lots of Droid phones getting into the market, but now here comes the successor to the Nexus One.
