Mad Catz is no new kid when it comes to gaming peripherals, and now they have a new (though awkward looking) gaming mouse to rival those snakes from Razer, and Steelseries’s Xai, and not to forget the Thundercat-inspired Roccat. Their new rat called the Cyborg R.A.T.9 is a wireless gaming mouse, and as the name sounds, it does look like a robotic mouse. Read more…

iHome has unveiled a new noise isolating metal earphones called the iHome iB24. It provides the in-line remote with microphone, allowing you to answer and end calls; controls sound volume, play/pause, and track selection, even voice commands for your dear iPod, iPhone and iPad models, though not all are compatible, which we suspect those legacy ones will be out of the list. The earphones are available in black, red and magenta and these headphones come with three differently-sized ear cushions to ensure that background noise is properly blocked. How sweet to think of that. Each purchase comes equipped with a travel pouch. But somehow they missed out on the price…
Yes, a machine is too troublesome to use, and troublesome to carry around too, if you always deal with huge pile of money when selling your warfare weapons to terrorists, or tons of firecrackers to innocent children. Or perhaps the cookies sold by your mum cost millions. Either way, you’ll have to thank Wei Hansen, as they’ve developed something very nice for you. Have your Kinect yet? Maybe, or maybe not. But Microsoft is making sure that you will. You see, they’ve researched to a great extend for their Kinect, and the Kinect sure went under some super-machine research in their lab.
The highly sophisticated webcam has undergone some algorithmic optimizations and now Alex Kipman, lead software developer for what used to be known as Project Natal, tells us that the Kinect’s processing overhead for the Xbox 360 console will be no greater than a “single-digit” percentage. This is short of a few digits from his last statement that says the Kinect will consume 10 to 15 percent of the Xbox’s power reactor. Well, who cares really? Everyone will have a smooth gaming session playing with their virtual pets tomorrow once the Kinect goes live.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab has just been announced, and not everyone can get it yet. But Samsung is already thinking about the next generation Tab. Well, that’s if they decide to use this new 7-inch Super AMOLED panel for the next generation Tab, or an entirely new product.
