Chrome’s Web Store officially launched

Google has officially launched the Chrome Web Store for their Chrome browser, which will host lots of paid and free apps for your Chrome. Something like an iPad apps store for browsers, but much tailored for mice and keyboards. Audio can run in the background even if you move to another tab. There’s offline mode, too. App purchases are tied to your Google account, naturally. Thus far, it seemed to only work on Chrome, but Google did state in their Q&A that it’s built with standard web technologies,” and will work with all compatible browsers. As of now it’s only applicable for US though. So, what’s your take on this “app filled world”? Seemed like what Steve Jobs said is very true. There’s an app for that™.
