Great news for those in UK, as Carphone Warehouse has just slashed the price of the highly acclaimed Nexus S phone by a whopping 22-percent for those SIM-free versions, down to £429.99 ($668). Contract-saddled pricing has also taken a tumble, as the Nexus S can now be had for free on two-year agreements costing £30 ($47) per month.

Yes, it’s still more expensive then the US set, but previously it’s going shoulder by shoulder with the US price of $529, as the UK set is selling at £529 also. Consider that a ‘bargain’? but be warned though, that the handset is now listed as being on back order, so there’s no guarantee that you’ll get yours before Christmas.

Those in US however might have abit more luck, as Best Buy is listing “guaranteed Christmas delivery” on their Nexus S online order page, though buyers are still receiving emails from the retailer advising them that their new contour phone with the bread might not make it before your turkey’s cooked.
