We all know about washing our hands to keep ‘em clean, but we can’t really control what others do. We might want to be hygiene, but some odd balls just never cared. As we all know, the door handle services most number of people in and out of a building, with most indirect contacts. That’s what makes this concept so special. A self-cleaning door handle, but one Choi Bomi.

His imagination goes like this. The gatekeeper continuously sterilizes itself with a UV light, only taking a break when you actually use it. A clandestine switch in the handle’s frame is what toggles the sanitizing illumination on and off, a spark of cleverness that’s earned the design a Red Dot award. Now let’s start manufacturing this hygiene controller.
