ASRock upcoming P67 Transformer motherboard with Socket 1156

We all know that the P67 chipset from Intel is for the new Sandy Bridge processor which uses socket 1155. However, ASRock has gone and does the ‘crazy’ stuff yet again by using ‘the older’ socket 1156 on a P67 motherboard. Now, this is not a simple do and done stunt, as ASRock is also marketing a very crazy 2600MHz DDR3 speed for this motherboard. We all know that Dual Channel DDR3 on the P55 platform has always been able to overclock higher than Triple Channel DDR3 on the X58, but 2600Mhz is a very sweet speed indeed. However, it’s important to note that this motherboard only has one PCI-Express x16 slot, which means no SLI or Crossfire for this motherboard.
