BlueAnt Q2 Platinum Headset is your fashionable headset

BlueAnt Q2 Platinum Headset is your fashionable headset

These days, a phone is a fashion, and you’ll look like a dinosaur from ice-age if your mobile phone doesn’t have touchscreen. Even the headset needs to be fashionable, or you’ll look like a dork with a huge junk hanging on your ear. That’s why we have this. The BlueAnt Q2 Platinum headset is touted as a “fashion-forward addition to the critically acclaimed Q2 product line.”

The headset features the new fully integrated text-to-speech feature that delivers complete hands-free communications. To activate it, simply say “Phone Commands” and you are ready to make a phone call. Answering calls is equally easy. All you have to say is “Answer” or “Ignore,” if you decide not to answer. Pretty cool, right? Just like how the Russian said “Start engine!” in the movie 2012.

The BlueAnt Q2 Platinum headset also has the “Caller Name Announce” feature that reads the names of incoming callers from a database of up to 2,000 contacts. What makes this Bluetooth headset more interesting is that it adopts the Wind Armour Technology, which is known as the most advanced noise cancellation on the market. The new BlueAnt Q2 headset is currently available for $129 each.

Proteam 2-in-1 LED Wind Up Energy Saving Torch Lantern

It’s great to have a flashlight when you’re traveling. Rural or urban. But at times, a flashlight might not be enough if the surrounding is very dark, and a flashlight is just not enough to give you the confidence to bath in the darkness. That’s where the Proteam TO1005 comes in: a combination of a flashlight and a lantern.

Available in a smooth black finish, the Proteam TO1005 2-in-1 20 LED Wind Up Energy Saving Torch Lantern features a swiveling head, allowing you to focus the light whichever direction you wish. There are 9 LED lights that power the flashlight with a bright white light and 11 LED lights that provide the lantern with brighter illumination. You can recharge its internal battery via a simple wind-up hand crank. Only 1 minute of winding gives up to 20 minutes of light. The Proteam TO1005 also has a magnetic base for secure positioning on any metallic surface. Awesome stuff. They should’ve bulk this when I was still a scout.

H2O announce new waterproof and sweat-proof IEM

H2O is not a very popular brand when it comes to audio products. But their products do command an affordable price tag. The company has announced a new Flex All Sport that the company claimed to be 100-percent waterproof and sweat-proof in-ear-earphones. Yes, it is important to have sweat-proof earphones when you’re exercising, as I’ve experienced earphones malfunctioned due to sweats in the ear.

Available in Onyx Black, Super Hero Blue, Envy Green and Power Pink, these earphones feature 9mm drivers for clear and rich sound. The H2O Audio Flex is ideal for active use and is waterproof up to 1 meter underwater. The H2O Audio Flex All Sport Earbuds retail for $29.99. Each purchase comes equipped with three different sizes of Elastomer ear plugs for personalized comfort and fit.

NASA discovers arsenic-born organisms, no air needed

NASA discovers arsenic-born organisms, no air needed

Nasa has found evidence of arsenic-born organisms, so your hope for having an alien girlfriend didn’t end when they say that Jupiter has no oxygen. Not really in the form of a new extraterrestrial being, but still a new form of life. Researchers in Mono Lake, California, have discovered a microorganism that uses arsenic instead of phosphorous to thrive and reproduce.

Unlike us humans that lives on Earth that’s full of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur all around us, arsenic lives in environment that’s considered very poisonous. This just further proves that there’s possibility of life that can be made with components different than our current assumptions. Even possible beyond our stars. So, the next time you go hitchhiking on the galaxy don’t just say “NEXT!” when you see a star that has no water and oxygen. There might just be some “perkiliciousness” over there.
