LMP Bluetooth keypad wants to befriend your Apple keyboard

LMP Bluetooth keypad wants to befriend your Apple keyboard

Here’s a Bluetooth keypad for your Mac computer. The LMP Bluetooth Keypad shares the same cylindrical base and brushed aluminium finish as the Apple Wireless Keyboard. The design does mimic the real Mac keyboard, but I won’t say it truly mimics one because the keypads are standing out too tall compared to the real deal.

The LMP Keypad can be used as a standalone device, but it also has a connector that snaps onto the right side of your Apple Wireless Keyboard to create a good feel of a whole keyboard. The LMP Keypad requires a couple of AA batteries (not included) to operate. Too bad, there is no word on pricing or availability at this time.

Street Legal Tron Legacy Bike commands a USD55,000

Yes Honda might have just announced their new CBR1000R for the year 2011, but this bike totally pawns it. In fact, this bike will make many bikers go crazy, though the price will make some go even crazier. Probably the coolest real bike you’ll ever see, this is the street legal Tron Legacy Bike, made by the Parker Brothers Choppers. They’ve made 10 custom-built Light Cycles that mimic the virtual ones very closely. Read more…

Apple the top sued company

Being at the top has its good and bad. Everyone wants to be number one, but not in everything. When you’re that high up in the top, sometimes it’s really inevitable to have the ‘bad’ too. Today’s main character goes to Apple, the company that gets lots of attention in today’s world. All thanks to Steve Jobs’s ego too. While the company is churning out products that the mainstream public enjoy devouring, Apple is also getting the attention of lawyers. Read more…

Reuse crumpled bottles as LED lamps

Reuse crumpled bottles as LED lamps

If this project gets into real production line, then things will look awesome. I often see parks and other places with plastic bottles from mineral water scattered here and there. It’ll be great if somebody did something, like what this concept does. YaRan Chang, Hsin Chou Liao, Chung en Lee & Simon Shih have come up with an idea of how to use this rubbish: by turning them into LED lamps.

Rather than just dumping that bottle of water you’d just finished, just crush them harder in a random pattern, screw the tops onto the modular LED enclosure, and feast your eyes on a vivid play of lights and shapes. What’s better is that there’s no extra cost or investment. The idea was good enough to win this year’s Liteon Award. Just remember to cleanse them properly to get rid of all the germs before using them.

Supposed Playstation Phone spied by Mr Blurrycam

December 3rd, 2010

Someone seemed to have recorded a video of a person fooling around with the Sony Ericsson Z1 Playstation Phone in what seemed to be an airplane. This might be the real deal of the Sony Ericsson Z1 Playstation Phone, which is rumoured to be announced on the 9th of December, and launched in February 2011. If it’s the real deal, then it most probably is running the upcoming Android 2.3 aka the Gingerbread. The phone is rumoured to cost USD500 with 5 games come preloaded. Additional games should cost around USD10. Unfortunately this is the Mr Blurrycam edition, so there’s also a possibility that thing is just an upcoming Xperia X12.

Gran Turismo 5 sells ‘decently’, helped boost sales of PS3 too

The numbers were not staggering, but we’ll forsake that and blame the economy. The numbers weren’t a match for yesteryear’s Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec which smashed a lifetime sales record of 1.89 million units in Japan, and 14.89 million worldwide, but Gran Turismo 5’s launch week sales of 430,707 units in its first four days at Japanese retail still make the long-awaited racing sim number one in Japan’s bestsellers list for the week ending November 28.

Thanks to the release of Gran Turismo 5, Sony also enjoyed a tremendous spike in PS3 game console sales last week in Japan, with 68,840 units sold — nearly a 140-percent increase from the previous week.

GT5 creator reveals fixes in the works, more functionality coming

It seemed that the fuss around Gran Turismo 5 will not end just yet, despite already available worldwide. The game itself is pretty much full of entertaining tales, with the most famous ones being the delay that made the game took some 6 years to develop. Quick to the point, some gamers have already ridiculed the much acclaimed racing sim as being awfully crafted.

Yes, the game was awesome as itself, much like how previous GT games were also very fun. GT5 is full of bugs and flaws, though many diehard fans are in denial. Creator Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that fixes are planned, and should arrive by early December. Unrealistic having cosmetic damage yet the car still goes on and on, is very unlike Gran Turismo. Suspicious Intel Z68 Express Chipset leaked

The P67 chipset is yet to be released, and we already have leaked info on the next high-end chipset based on Sandy Bridge, the Z68 Express Chipset. The chipset, which is said to embrace integrated Intel HD graphics with support for both digital and analogue outputs, is designed to offer performance overclocking features for Sandy Bridge processors according to the slide leaked by a member of the Chiphell forums. Not sure why Intel HD graphics is here on a high-end chipset though.
