AOC’s tablet entry is a BREEZE

AOC has been aggressively marketing their monitors, but all of a sudden they’re also venturing into tablets. AOC has announced immediate availability of the Breeze, the company’s baby ultraportable tablet for the Android tablet market. The 8-inch tablet sports 800 x 600 pixel touchscreen powered by a Rockchip processor. Common features are like Wi-Fi 802.11g, a 4GB internal memory, single USB 2.0 port, microSD card expansion, and running on Android 2.1 Éclair. Nothing fancy here, but this doesn’t seemed like a great idea considering that Honeycomb is just around the corner. Battery life is expected to be around 12-hours (audio playback), and 6-hours (video playback). Priced at around $200 each, you can expect the AOC Breeze Android tablet to be demonstrated at CES 2011.
