It seemed that Angry Birds will be like Starbucks, they’re everywhere. From iOS to Android to Windows Phone, now they’re invading our typical desktop, the Microsoft Windows! Thanks to Intel’s AppUp centre, you can get Angry Birds right on your PC. But lo and behold, don’t be too happy yet. Unlike on the Android platform where it’s available for free or the iOS version available for a mere USD$0.99, Angry Birds on your PC will cost a whopping USD$9.99, rather expensive if you ask me for only 195 levels (initially). But don’t worry, there’ll be a special promotional price of USD$4.99, still expensive, but at least you get to shave off half the price.

Compatible with Windows 7 and XP operating systems, Angry Birds PC version will be available at www.appup.com. Yes the price is outrageous compared to their ‘mobile’ version, but you do get free updates and additional levels to the game in the future and in addition, there will be unique enhancements not found in the mobile version and yes, it’ll be free. Hopefully that’s worth the ten bucks paid. It seems like the company who developed the game, Rovio, is also working on a Mac version of Angry Birds for Apple Mac Store, which should be live now.
