Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

The PlayStation Phone rumour started off back few months ago, and was quite a surprising news indeed. After going rounds of leaks and sneaks and leaps now the Japanese company has instead announced a new Xperia phone over at CES. Not a Sony PlayStation Phone with a slide-out gamepad like the PSP Go.

The phone seemed to have a “Reality Display” with a Mobile BRAVIA Engine, whatever that means. The phone has a 4.2-inch multitouch panel with 854 x 480 resolutions. Powering the slim phone is a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and the phone has an 8.3-Megapixel camera with a label called Sony Exmor R. Interesting. The phone is indeed running Gingerbread, and it’s so slim that it also has a concave back, much like how Google Nexus S is. There’s a mini-HDMI port for obvious HDMI output.
