Apple has been working with Verizon for a CDMA version of iPhone 4 to work in Verizon’s CDMA network, but that’s not the only project going on right now. Verizon CFO Francis Shammo has told Bloomberg that the iPad will also be getting similar treatment. Although light on details like price or release date wasn’t shed, Shammo did explicitly say a version that connects directly to Verizon’s network is in the pipeline. Price wise, that can be judged easily but timeframe? We can only assume that they’re referring to the current first generation iPad, but hey anything can happen right?
