Own the night in Shift 2: Unleashed

Have you had fun playing Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit? Well, as you’re busy working with those random online players to bust the cops, the team over at Need for Speed has been busy preparing for the next track-racing-focused Shift 2, the successor to the Shift. As we all know, Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed will be arriving in 29th of March 2011, but what’s there waiting for us other than a new graphic and polished up Shift? Well, apparently you can get ready your Logitech Momo Steering Wheel and own the night, because all the race tracks in Shift 2 can be played at night.

We’re all used to trade paints while driving under the bright sunny lights, and occasionally in the snow and dirt like Dirt 2, and we’ve seen a couple of games that has night race, but they all feel like normal race with slightly deemed lights, and a cooler environment, that’s all. But that’s not the case for Shift 2. In Shift 2, all tracks can be raced at night. While some of the tracks are well light up with powerful sport lights, a small number of them are tracks that are out in the middle of nowhere, with very awful lightings. Very realistic stuff. The tracks will be pitching black, and the only source of light is from your car’s headlights, and your opponents’. Suddenly, racing in the night is a totally new experience. What’s more, reckless driving will damage your headlights, causing you to drive without light from your own car. When that happens, your opponent is your only hope.
