Right, we’ve been getting a dozen doze of Apple’s upcoming iPad 2 news that it’s getting quite boring. RIM’s Playbook has been shown and teased to the public for so many times, but yet it’s not ready for the market because RIM said they’re still tackling issues with the battery life. But now it seemed that the wait will not be that long anymore.

The Canadian company’s senior business marketing VP Jeff McDowell has openly claimed that the PlayBook will offer “equal or greater” battery endurance to Apple’s device, while using a smaller cell size. But what about the iPad 2? Will the Playbook be in time to come out and have a good fight, or short-lived?
