Lenovo LePad and U1Base Hero for the Chinese market

Well, here it is, Lenovo’s LePad tabletthat’s running on Android. It’s odd, that the company stated they’ll only release LePad when Honeycomb is out, but now that Honeycomb is official, the company is still sticking to Froyo. Anyway, let’s take a look at what they are. The 10.1-inch LePad is powered by a newer 1.3GHz Snapdragon. The panel has a 1280 x 800 capacitive multitouch display, and seemed to be very thin indeed.

Opera for tablets coming soon

Last time we only had desktop, and then smartphones come along with their tiny screens. Companies start to get very busy for preparing software for both platforms, but now come along yet another platform, tablets. That includes two ultra-widescreen 21:9 Cinema models in its Theater 3D line in 50- and 58-inch sizes, two VIA Plus TVs with Google TV in the XVT3D476SP and XVT3D556SP, and continuation of its existing Yahoo! Widgets based Vizio Internet Apps features including WiFi and Bluetooth QWERTY remote across TVs sized 22-inches and above. Sadly you can only preview them right now, as there’s no price mentioned at the moment. Read more…

Asus has a bunch of tablets at CES to show, but they’re not just showing typical slates with different screen sizes. This round we have a look at their two unique slates with keyboards. A floating Monaco island?

A floating Monaco island?

These days we’ve seen designers creating super-yacht that has their own garage to park their own super car, so that you can drive to anywhere whenever you arrived at anywhere. But that’s just that. What we’re looking at today is something more than just a super-yacht to bring the ladies for a night.
