Ferrari into hatchback?
January 26th, 2011
When Lamborghini presented the 4-Door Coupe/Sedan Concept called the Estoque two years ago, Montezemolo of Ferrari said that the company will never produce a 4-door car as long as he’s a CEO. But now, it seemed that Ferrari has developed a freaking speedy hatchback! Why does the Prancing Horse has a hatchback in its stable? To fight with the Renault Megane Sports? January 25th, 2011
Malaysia has received its very first ‘official’ maid café with this newly opened “Tenshi の Café” at e@Curse Shopping Mall in Mutiara Damansara. Well, we’ve seen quite a small number of others, but they’re not quite genuine, and there’s of course plenty of those maid café loaded with unlimited choices of PRC, but they’re not authentic for otakus.
For those who are not familiar with the concept of maid café, it is basically a restaurant where the waitresses are dressed in French maid outfit and act as servants (or butlers if it’s a guy) in private homes. So, instead of treating customers as per norm, customers are treated as masters/mistresses; yes, just like how it is portrayed in Japanese animes and mangas. Fantasy dreams, we all have them don’t we? Mighty HTML 5 will just be Mighty HTML from today onwards
January 25th, 2011
HTML5 has been getting quite some attention as of late. After getting that awesome super-hero emblem, the latest web standard has become a bit self-conscious of its designation. Therefore, it demands that you just refer to it—and all future iterations—as HTML. “Wut?” WHATWG and W3C, the main organizations leading the charge to create a final HTML5 spec, realized that updates and new standards are moving at such rapid speeds like technology that it’s silly to adhere to snapshots of the HTML standard. (Or is it?) Instead, HTML will simply be a living, ever-evolving specification, which it basically has been for years (the updates in between versions were just called “drafts”). Just so to remind you, that you do not be spoken it in harsh and nasty “HTML5”, but just “HTML”. But then, which version, or draft are you referring again? Great, I’ve just updated my site with the latest HTML and now there’s another new HTML update? I’ve lost count, but there’s no numbers to refer and count. January 25th, 2011
These days we always carry around our electronic gadgets like they’ve become a necessity appliance, but when you’re out of juice and you’re in need of their awesome service, there goes the frustration face popping right out. You might be seeking a power outlet, but most of them are occupied by those Wi-Fi leechers. “How? If only I could just slip in my USB-powered gadget for just a few moments, and call back mum or she’ll kill me.“ That’s what you’ve been thinking all the time right? Well, someone should be glad that the awesome FlipIt! charger is out. Yes, the name might sound absurd and outrages to some, but it indeed does a ‘flip-it’. As you can see in the image, FlipIt! simply slips between an outlet and another plug to allow for both gadgets to be charged—hopefully without causing any sort of fire hazard. Either way, FlipIt! will set you back $15 and can be ordered now. Just don’t flip the wrong thing in the public. SOURCE via flipitusb A flying superyacht

We’ve seen crazy yacht concepts indeed, some particularly the size of an island. But one that can fly? Well, the idea is crazy, but it’s not new. The picture you see above is a concept of a 118-foot flying yacht, but it’s not new. It’s just a beatified Ekranoplane, which is an aircraft-ship hybrid that can float like a sea vessel and fly a few meters over the water surface. Yes, just a few meters, not as high as a G6, so it’s still acceptable, but one that’s still very expensive to build. HTC’s upcoming Android handsets?
January 25th, 2011
PocketNow has a handful of leaked renders of HTC’s upcoming roadmap handsets, and all of them seemed to be for Android. First of all, we’ve not a device that seemed to be a trackpad-less Nexus One (pictured above), and there’s another Aria-sized Nexus One in black but with an added old-school trackball. What’s this, a hacksaw for Half Life 3?

Not really, this is more of something for Apple fans. No, it’s not to cut your Apples, but to carry. Read more… When surfing meets dark night with LED, are you trying to kill yourself?
January 25th, 2011
Surfing has always been a fun but dangerous activities, especially when we look at how many lives are lost getting attacked by sharks. But when you’re surfing at time where visibility is at its least, you’re not an extreme surfer anymore, you’re a madman. And we have Mark for that. Famous surfer Mark Visser got hold of his board, and a couple helicopters along, to Jaws, the huge wave reef on Maui Island, Hawaii. He then tried to kill himself by surfing the 40-foot waves at night. The lighting technologies were created especially for the project by Solus Corporation using ground breaking NASA submarine lighting to ensure the wave and board were lit in the right places, at the right time and illuminated the wave without hindering the vision of Visser, the Jet Ski drivers and the helicopter pilots. You might think that the shots of him gliding the graceful 40-foot wave is very CGI, they’re not. They’re as real as it gets. He was wearing a buoyancy vest and a modified surfboard with built-in LED lighting. Probably an integrated GPS chip too, just in case. The video is part of an upcoming Documentation Series called ‘9 Lives’. SOURCE via Surf Transworld |
