Angry Birds go to Rio this March

What happens when a bunch of birds that lacks anger managements got kidnapped just in the nick of their egg hatching time and got sent to Rio de Janeiro so randomly? Well, they get so angry that they even managed to overheat and burst a metal cage to explosion, no pigs needed. Come March, and your favourite game on your mobile phone will not be slinging angry birds, but blue parrots instead, if this picture above says so. Rovio’s famous smartphone game Angry Birds will be launching a new edition called the Angry Birds Rio.
Well, 50 million downloads for the original game doesn’t seem to satisfy Rovio it seemed. A PC version and a PlayStation version were released not too long ago, and this ‘Rio’ edition is in contrary to Fox’s upcoming movie, Rio. According to the short clip you can catch after the break, three of the birds – yellow, red and little light blue one – gets kidnapped and taken to Rio. They will escape, because nobody can capture these furious fowls, and find hundreds of other birds suffering the same fate as them. It’ll be a 45-level battle between the birds and their evil captors which, doesn’t look like pigs this time but who knows, they could be the big boss behind the entire thing. In the meantime, watch out for Angry Birds Valentine’s edition coming to you this Valentine’s Day. Yes it’ll be all lovey-dovey and pink in color.
