Sony might have shown to the world their Xperia Arc, but there’s another flagship hidden in their lab. Well, you can’t really call this a flagship looking at the hardware that powers it, which seemed to be measly struggling among the many dual-core smartphones announced at MWC 2011.

It’s called the Neo, and it seemed that Sony Ericsson wants you Sony TV owners to get this. Everything must be Sony it seemed. The device is able to plug into your HDTV via HDMI and can be controlled with a standard remote.

The 3.7-inch screen on the device sports a ‘standard’ resolution of 854 x 480 and uses the same Sony’s Bravia graphics engine, which makes me rather skeptical what this chip really does. Anyway, the phone has a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, which is seriously very 2010. Thought, the 8 megapixel camera with LED flash at the back does do some justice (and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera), and will be available in an ‘array’ of colors (silver, red, and blue). What a wide range that is.
