Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 goes official

Formerly known as the Galaxy S Player, this new PMP from Samsung has been given a new name called the Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 (what a mouthful). Now why the 5.0 you say? Well, the YP-MB2 / Galaxy Player 50 is now formally known as the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and though it’s been sold for a short time already, the big brother is now here.
It’s said to be 5-inch, which is bigger than the Galaxy S II, but this new Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 might just be getting some decent specs to match up with its SIM-powered smartphone the S2. There’s HDMI port and microSD expansion slot, which makes it possibly powered by an Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC for 1080P content output. Though, Samsung hasn’t really given the full spec, so we’ll just have to wait a lil’ longer.
