Google Chrome Beta Updates with Speed Boosts All Around, Passphrase Encryption for Sync
Google’s web browser Chrome has been a solid contender to the likes of Firefox and IE, though I’m not sure who’s still using IE at this age. Anyway, if you’ve been using the beta version of Google Chrome, then you may have noticed the update icon sitting atop the wrench button. Once you install the update (click the wrench, then click Update Google Chrome), you can expect a solid speed boost from Chrome’s updated JavaScript engine, some support for GPU-accelerated video, passphrase-encrypted password sync, and a redesigned settings dialog, including easy links to each and every setting boxes.
