If you’re in Japan, then you’ve got to check out this phone. It’s NEC’s latest Android smartphone, and it’s super-duper thin. That’s why they call it the “world’s thinnest Android smartphone”. Well, as usual, new smartphone will be compared with the mighty iPhone 4, and so does this MEDIAS N-04C. Akihabara News were present at DoCoMo’s launch event, and they were able to get up close to inspect this 7.7mm-thin Android 2.2 handset.

Goodies of this phone are like NFC, 1seg TV Tuner, infrared port, 5 megapixel camera, 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 chip, etc. There’s also Gorilla Glass present. Apparently Android 2.3 update will arrive in July.
