Angry Birds go to Rio this March

What happens when a bunch of birds that lacks anger managements got kidnapped just in the nick of their egg hatching time and got sent to Rio de Janeiro so randomly? Well, they get so angry that they even managed to overheat and burst a metal cage to explosion, no pigs needed. Come March, and your favourite game on your mobile phone will not be slinging angry birds, but blue parrots instead, if this picture above says so. Rovio’s famous smartphone game Angry Birds will be launching a new edition called the Angry Birds Rio. Read more…

Solar Wind Bridge concept a good idea, or a new way to suicide with higher efficiency

Can you say that Francesco Colarossi, Giovanna Saracino and Luisa Saracino are three greedy men? I would prefer to call them one with very big ambition. Why just use solar power or wind power, when you can use both, together? Isn’t that more efficient? Read more…

Intel announces Sandy Bridge chipset recall, $1 billion loss estimated

Intel’s second generation Core processors were launched officially just last month, and went on with a very big bang that gave extremely good reviews about the processors, but Intel has come forward and made a very big bold announcement to recall all P67/H67 Cougar Point motherboards due to chipset bug last week, because “In some cases, the Serial-ATA (SATA) ports within the chipsets may degrade over time, potentially impacting the performance or functionality of SATA-linked devices such as hard disk drives and DVD-drives.”

Rude Gameware Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse V2 wants to eat you up

Rude Gameware Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse V2 wants to eat you up

This gaming mouse might have a funny and long name, but it is packed with some serious muscles. Rude Gameware Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse doesn’t seem really fierce to me, but more plastic than our usual Razer and Steelseries mouse.

This particular angry gaming mouse features a very high 5000DPI laser engine with lighting response time of only 1 millisecond, which can only means a 1,000MHz polling rate. There are a total of seven programmable buttons and a built-in memory for macro recording. The Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse V2 includes all the stuff gamers want in a mouse without any extra complications, but still carries a decent retail price of only $49.95 for each tail. Good luck scaring off all your opponents in Crysis 2 multiplayer with this.

Korean researchers demonstrate LTE-Advanced in a custom RV, score 600Mbps downloads

Yes, you’re so proud that your carrier has started offering 7.2Mbps but at a ridiculous price, and you envy US for getting LTE very very soon. But now you should look elsewhere at the East, as some other group of people have shown to the world what the real true 4G really is. Korea’s Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute has demonstrated LTE-Advanced, which is capable of hitting 600Mbps downloads while on the move. That’s six times what you can ever hope to expect from LTE and 40 times faster than 3G — enough to download a 700MB file in 9.3 seconds or stream 3D HD footage on the go, something that they did while humping in the bus. Time to get jelly again…

Double USB concept a breakthrough in USB history

Double USB concept a breakthrough in USB history

Have you ever face problem of not knowing which side to poke that USB device into the hole? Might be a simple thing to resolve, but I can imagine some rare tards persistently poking in the device until all hell break lose. I’m not sure about you guys out there, but I’ve never had problems of poking my thumb drives into the holes. Then again, out of 100 people, there might be one that has that problem, and thinking that how many billions of people in this world, there might be a few thousand or more people that will be glad to have this new design.

To combat the problem of USB plug rejection, Ma Xi Xuan has developed the Double USB connector that works right side up or upside down thanks to twin spring-loaded plastic connectors on its interior. The design seems more robust than previous solutions we’ve seen, but sadly the switch-hitting plug is only a design exercise at this point. Hopefully this design will see the light of day, or else some innocent USB drives might be killed just because of the very low intelligence of some people.

The Hammerhead custom rig is one hell of a sexy rig

Here’s a very awkward looking custom computer, called the Hammerhead HMR98902. The Hammerhead HMR989 is a custom, high-performance desktop computer designed by DARWINmachine. Each chassis is made to order and is hand-built from brushed, anodized aluminum and ecoresin. With its unique design and functionality, it is perfect for the hardcore gamer, enthusiast, or for anyone looking for a desktop machine that is “out of the box”.   The design does resemble a certain Thermaltake Level 10 chassis thought.
