Remember the update that Google has for its free and highly popular Maps Navigation app for Android, the V5.2 that we talked about not too long ago? Apparently there’re some very unique features that Google placed inside it, and this time it’s one that’s very useful to many.

It seemed that the Maps Navigation app for Android takes traffic information into account and automatically routes your journey for you, so that you don’t have to tune in to that silly radio channel just to check on the traffics.

The previous version of the app would choose the shortest route or offer alternative directions that included side roads, but Google’s geeks have developed a new algorithm that uses both current and historical traffic data to create the fastest route from point A to B. It’s available from Google Mobile right now.
