NFC chip in smartphones are becoming the trend of 2011 after dual-core, all thanks to Google’s Nexus S touting it as a major feature. We also previously heard that Apple has considered having NFC chip in its next iPhone, but after a long and secret development, it seemed that Apple will skip NFC for this year. That particular source is reportedly coming directly from meetings with the Cupertino top shots, which is said to be dissatisfied with the current lack of a clear, universal NFC standard. Well, Apple has always omit or delay features it seemed not fit for its generation, and NFC looks to be fated this way this time.
