Amazon Appstore to offer cheaper Android apps

Earlier today, someone at Amazon accidentally made Amazon.com/apps accessible to everyone who went to that specific URL, and upon visiting, it shows Amazon’s upcoming app store for Android. Of course, the link has been taken down by now.

But a few lucky visitors actually took the time to visit Android Marketplace and compare the price of apps available at both sides, and it seemed that Amazon’s got some exclusive deals. There are 14 apps that are cheaper on Amazon, and Amazon even have some exclusive apps such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Force Recon, 3D Spider Walk, Brainwave Tuner and Highborn. Angry Bird Rio will also be debuting exclusively at Amazon Appstore this month. However, the apps can’t be bought yet.

Android News has got a full list of the price differences between Amazon and Google’s respective stores. Check it out if you’re interested!
