Western Digital has managed to stuffed 2 unit of 3TB hard drive into their My Book Studio Edition II dual-drive storage system, which effectively gives you 6TB. No surprises there, as single 3TB bricks are increasingly become a norm in the market. However, Thunderbolt port and USB 3.0 port is missing, which makes you wonder why, since this is a very new product. Western Digital instead gives you USB 2.0, eSATA, FireWire 400 and FireWire 800 support, and even provides support for Apple’s Time Machine. But do prepare to wait for 10 years in order to backup all your 6TB of porn videos into this new 6TB fortress. The 6TB My Book Studio Edition II sells for $549.99.
