After much delay here and there, AMD has finally gone ahead and finalize its shipment schedule for its future microprocessors. This is according to industrial sources of course, as AMD has yet to give an official statement. AMD is expected to begin shipments of its high-end FX-series chips which is based on the Bulldozer micro-architecture in the second half of June and will initiate supplies of A-series code-named Llano accelerated processing units (APUs) in early July. Now that the new iPad 2 is released, SoundMan wasted no time in preparing an updated kit for the new iPad 2. On Friday, the team had already managed to install Apple’s magical tablet into a 2011 Ford F-150.

Google has issued a security alert to Internet Explorer users. According to Google reps, users of IE are open to attacks through a popular social networking site. However Google had declined to name the site specifically, but insisted on its warning. IE is the default Internet browser shipped with most of the Microsoft Windows operating system, and many users did not change their default browser.

KERS may be a new term to some, but it’s actually not the first time being implemented in Formula One. KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is coming back for the 2011 Formula One season after it first appeared on Formula One cars on 2009. This time, Red Bull Racing’s Mark Webber got together with the team’s animation gurus to explain how it works.
When the driver brakes, the energy is lost when it’s converted to heat. But instead of wasting those precious bits of power, the electrons are transferred from the brakes and stored in a battery pack, allowing the driver to use the additional power for passing. How much power? Around 90 horsepower is available at the push of a button. That’s quite a healthy boost over the existing 700 horses running in the cars.
