HTC Incredible S, Desire HD, Desire Z and original Desire will all have Gingerbread cookies by end of June

When HTC launched the Incredible S at MWC a couple of weeks ago, it didn’t get Gingerbread and a huge number wasn’t pleased. But HTC promised the new 4-inch device would be quick to get the fun of Gingerbread update and now it’s giving us a clearer date for as the company says that Android 2.3 will be distributed to its new flagship phone by the end of Q2 2011. Well, that’s at least better than none, but four months of wait is surely quite long to me.

Real Megatron tank found in China!

‘Transformer 3: Dark of the Moon’ is still months away, but holy mother Jebus somebody found Megatron lying around hibernating in China while waiting for the imminent war to arrive yet again!

The giant Megatron tank replica from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen not only looks like it’d grind us up like so much beef beneath its spiky treads, it reportedly weighs five tons and stands eight feet tall. It’s allegedly constructed entirely out of scrap metal by a designer known as “Steel Legend” – an honorary name that we dare not question.

Now, does anybody know where Optimus Prime is hiding? Or Bumblebee maybe? We need a Autobots VS Decepticon: Beijing Battle Royale now!

Nintendo 3DS launches in Japan

Nintendo 3DS launches in Japan

After much await, the Nintendo 3DS has been made official in Japan. Of course, worldwide launch won’t be happening yet, you’ve still got a full month to go. Nintendo should be rather happy with this launch in Japan, as reports have it that their entire initial shipments of 400,000 units were cleared within the day.

Some of those sales were to customers waiting in a few lines up to 2,000 persons long, but those lines were exceptions to the norm — several publications note that very few stores actually had any lines to speak of, as most Japanese electronics retailers sold out when the 3DS went on pre-order over a month ago. Well, the world doesn’t only line up for the iPhone and iPad, and their queue was exceptionally in order.

Dead Xbox 360 is now a PS3 arcade controller

Dead Xbox 360 is now a PS3 arcade controller

Poor Xbox 360 being humiliated in such a manner, but then again an Xbox 360 that suffers from the chronic RROD (Red Ring of Death) can really do nothing but be a dead vase in the living room. That’s why, in order to ‘recycle’ this Xbox 360, Morris has taken this dead Xbox 360 of his and crafted it into a PS3 arcade controller. Respect to Morris, for it is indeed a very well-done masterpiece.

The case contains all of the buttons you need to partake in a classic beat-’em-up — a joystick, the four PlayStation buttons, R1 and R2. There’s plenty more to gander at in the source link and enough in the way of detail and instruction to get started on your own arcade stick too.
