Panasonic's first rewriteable 100GB BD-RE XL discs launch later this month

So I heard the double-layer Blu-ray disc’s 50GB isn’t enough to back up your ever increasing Japanese porn collection. Well, good news to your mate, as Panasonic has just released its first rewriteable 100GB BD-RE XL discs to further improve archiving all sorts of data that you have, be it safe or not-safe, or legal whatsoever. Set the date for April 15, as that’s the day this 100GB BD-RE XL from Panasonic will arrive, but hold, as the venue is Japan. Well now you have a good excuse to go to Japan and try out their onsen.

Being the first rewriteable BDXL is the LM-BE100J’s claim to fame, which works out since the 10,000 yen ($118 US) asking price means buying two is probably out of the question. That’s presumably that you have either a Pioneer or Buffalo BD-burner lying around that is.
