Adobe Flash for Android hardware-acceleration to require Android 3.1?

When Adobe announced their Flash 10.2, they also proudly announced the new full hardware-accelerated potential on Honeycomb. But it missed, but a huge mile. Now, the company is claiming that they’ve finally found a solution, but it’ll only appear on the new Android 3.1.

Yes, this is the first time we’ve heard of Android 3.1. Google has never mentioned of this new update, and frankly speaking there’s hardly any devices out there that’s running Android 3.0 besides Motorola Xoom, therefore we never even though about the next update Android 3.1.

Apparently, Android 3.1 will be live soon after more Honeycomb tablets are out there in the market, which we predict will be in summer. Adobe said that in order to take full advantage of the true hardware acceleration, this new update will be required.
