It’s been a while since I last heard of Edifier, and the company is ready to introduce a new 2.1 speaker system. Called the Prisma Silver E3350, this 2.1 speaker uses a very familiar pyramid-shaped downward firing subwoofer, resembling their certain older model’s design. There’s also a pair of very stylish and shiny satellite speakers.
The speaker comes equipped with an ergonomically designed wired controller that has a red circular power indicator, a headphone jack and an input for MP3 player or CD players. The overall design does look very classy with those polished silver color all over the speaker’s chassis and controller’s knob.
The Edifier Prisma Silver E3350 2.1 speaker system is now available for $129.99

Before we start introducing this headphone, I’ll just say that it’s the sexiest headphone I’ve ever seen. Designers worldwide, if you’re reading this, yes, simplicity and low profile with the right line and curve is the most appealing design ever, and that’s why Apple’s products are selling like hot cakes despite the price being similar to your kidney’s price.
This headphone here is the VIZIO XVTHB100, and it’s a Bluetooth stereo headphone which features high-performance 30mm neodymium drivers with advance SRS sound processing. You can connect these lightweight Bluetooth headphones to your laptop, smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled HDTV.
The VIZIO XVTHB100 also supports a standard 3.5mm port to connect with virtually any other audio source and a built-in voice enhancement that makes your calls or Skype chats sound better than ever. Its rechargeable battery provides up to 9-hour of operation time. Though, with such design I don’t think the cans will have a good sound-cancelling job.

Getting lost in the ever growing Twitter universe? Me too, and so does Twitter themselves. That’s why they’ve introduced a new search function integrated into Twitter itself to make it easier for you to find and follow Twitter accounts based on your interests.
When you search for a topic, you can now discover accounts that are relevant to that particular subject. (Previously, you would have seen accounts that have the specific term in their name or username.) Just click on the “people” section of the search results page or search from the “Who to follow” page.
This new approach helps you find the Twitter users that will best help you follow your interests. For example, if you’re interested in hip hop, chances are that you’d like to follow hip hop artists. Searching for “hip hop” now surfaces accounts like @common and @questlove. (Previously, we typically showed accounts that have “hip hop” in the name.)
Sounds more and more like Google, which is good news.

So I heard the double-layer Blu-ray disc’s 50GB isn’t enough to back up your ever increasing Japanese porn collection. Well, good news to your mate, as Panasonic has just released its first rewriteable 100GB BD-RE XL discs to further improve archiving all sorts of data that you have, be it safe or not-safe, or legal whatsoever. Set the date for April 15, as that’s the day this 100GB BD-RE XL from Panasonic will arrive, but hold, as the venue is Japan. Well now you have a good excuse to go to Japan and try out their onsen.
Being the first rewriteable BDXL is the LM-BE100J’s claim to fame, which works out since the 10,000 yen ($118 US) asking price means buying two is probably out of the question. That’s presumably that you have either a Pioneer or Buffalo BD-burner lying around that is.

It seemed that having a swell lineup of Gingerbread smartphones is just the start of Sony Ericsson’s Android invasion, after their misery take with the Xperia X8 and X10 that never gets any update. Japan’s Nikkei is quoting Sony chief executive, Sir Howard Stringer, saying that the company’s first Android 3.0 tablet will be on sale by the end of summer.
The tablet is rumoured to be a PlayStation Certified Tegra 2 “S1” tablet featuring a 9.4-inch display and unique “wrap” design, though Sony is still keeping its lips sealed on information of the tablet. The new tablet tattle was apparently uttered at the same event where Howard spilled the beans about Apple’s plan to use Sony sensors.

Good news for those that loves to jailbreak. The Dev-Team has just released redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 for both Windows and OS X, which means magically easy jailbreaking for mere mortals like us peasants. This new update will support iPhone 3GS, 4 (GSM); iPod touch 3G, 4G; iPad 1; and Apple TV 2G — with just a few simple clicks.
Notice the missing of the iPad 2 which has iOS 4.3.1? Well, it seemed that Apple’s been working on some magic on the iPad 2’s iOS 4.3.1 and managed to tighten up its security to fend off hackers (for now). The reason the untether won’t work as-is on the iPad2 is that it requires a bootrom or iBoot-level exploit to install, and the iPad2 is not susceptible to either the limera1n or SHAtter bootrom exploits.
Also, ultrasn0w users have also been told to hang tight until there’s a compatibility fix — Dev-Team will announce on Twitter when this becomes available. As for those who are eligible for this new jailbreak, head over to Dev-Team’s website for the download links, and make sure you have the corresponding IPSW files handy as well — you can find them over at iClarified or on your favourite search engine.
