Things seemed to roll out quite fast for Honeycomb. Shortly after Google officially unveiled Android 3.1 at their Google I/O event, Acer and Asus are going to update their Honeycomb products into Android 3.1 very soon. Acer’s Iconia Tab A500 will be selling in the shops with Android 3.1 loaded next month, which means that update over-the-air will be coming very soon. Asus also mentioned that Android 3.1 will be available for their Eee Pad Transformer very shortly, as mentioned on their Italian Facebook page. To recap, 3.1′s benefits include resizable widgets, support for USB peripherals, and new Movies and Books apps, among other perks.
