But now there seem to be a new product that will solve this issue. The new Polaroid GL10 instant printer is your ideal lightweight printer. The lightweight printer works from most mobile phones wirelessly via Bluetooth and also support most digital cameras, Windows PCs and Macs via a USB cable, so you don’t have to worry about no support.

The gadget provides the classic Polaroid instant experience using the ZINK technology, which embeds color into the paper without the need for ink cartridges or ribbons. The GL10 features a small size, intuitive design and easy-to-use feature set that produces high quality 3” x 4” full color photos in about 45 seconds.

The pocket-sized Polaroid GL10 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and a full charge can produce 35 prints. Additionally, this photo printer also supports printing from Blackberry, Android and Windows compatible phones via Polaroid applications (sorry iOS users).

The Polaroid GL10 instant photo printer is currently available for pre-order for $170 a pop. The gadget will be released in June 2011. No mention about price of ink cartridge thought.
