ViewSonic 10-inch Viewpad 10Pro runs Angry Bird on Froyo on Windows 7 Pro

ViewSonic showcased two tablets at Computex Taiwan 2011. One of them is the 7-inch Honeycomb tablet called the ViewPad 7x. Another is the 10-inch ViewPad 10Pro.
The 10-inch slate is quite unique in its own way. It’s powered by the rather-uncommon Intel Oak Trail Z670 Atom processor running at 1.5GHz, and is loaded with the new Windows 7 Pro. The tablet is tout to be able to dual-boot into Android 2.2, but there’s a trick behind it. The truth is that the tablet is running the Bluestacks virtualization software, which turns Android into a Windows app, rather than true dual-booting capabilities. Yes, inception at work here, an Android in a Windows.
The tablet has 3G network capability, with 32GB of onboard storage, expandable via MicroSD or USB. The battery used here is a 3500mAh battery that’s rated to last for 4.5 hours of 1080p video playback. It’s one of Intel’s promised 10+ Android tablets coming at this year’s Computex, though it has the appreciable advantage of being able to switch over to Windows 7 pretty much instantaneously, so you can’t really call it an Android tablet powered by Intel.
