Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher are internal rivals as both drives for Mercedes GP Petronas. However, they also seem to share the same taste when it comes to dining and wine. Check out this new ad by Mercedes-Benz, which is amusing yet delivering a sharp message at the same time, just in time for the new season of Formula One which just kicked start down under yesterday.
This is a good example that the Internet is awesome. And at times, we wonder besides the usual keyboard warriors and /b/tards, who else actually lurk around the Internet. Last week, a Lexus LS460 owner attempted to re-create the classical 1990 TV commercial of Lexus, where an LS400 is sitting on a dynamometer and making a run up to 145 miles per hour, all while a large pyramid of crystal champagne glasses calmly sits on the hood of the car.
Because Google’s Android is starting to eat up their apps market, and there’s the new contender WebOS that’s about to try and gobble some tiny bits of Apple’s smartphone and tablet market, and let’s not forget Microsoft, Apple’s biggest rival that started way back in those old days. Therefore, Apple is gearing up some ads to brainwash you and tell you what you’re missing out when you don’t have an iPhone. Basically, they’re just saying to you, that because you’re missing out lots of other iCraps because you don’t own a magical iCrap. Watch the advertisement after the break.
The new Audi A6 that was revealed at Detroit earlier this year was beautiful, but Audi makes it even more special by calling its body “hybrid aluminium chassis”. Not sure what that means, but according to the German company, it’s a new unibody structure that helps increase the interior room without suffering a weight or rigidity penalty, thus you get better fuel economy yet optimum performance and safety. But explaining that to common Joe and Jack and Beng is quite literally impossible, so Audi let their marketing team do the magic trick.
The ad turns slabs of aluminium into an easily malleable material able to be stretched and formed into any shape, allowing the audience to draw easy parallels between the sculpting on screen and the work of the automaker’s engineers. Also makes it sound very fun to develop a car, as I’m sure the kids will love it.
Sometimes, things go so wrong when you’re drunk. Like the dude above. He’s getting the wrong perception. But then again, people says that when you’re drunk, what you do reflects the real you. So… you get the drill. A very Manly Marilyn Monroe. This is so wrong, people!
NTT DoCoMo has recently launched the Samsung Galaxy S in the Japanese market. Since it’s a direct iPhone competitor and as many would say the iPhone is a godsent, this would make the Galaxy S running Android a smartphone from the dark side. Thus, NTT DoCoMo has revealed their latest ambassador for the Samsung Galaxy S, and his name is Darth “roundabound” Vader. He’s starring in their latest “always with you” ads, where he serves as some form of human representation of the phone, thus lending some anthropomorphic qualities to the cold slab of technology awaiting you in the shops.
