Sirius has released their new Sportster 5. It is an in-dash satellite receiver with 6-line, multicolor display. It has the ability to pause or rewind 60 minutes of live radio. It boasts a real-time sports news ticker, storage for 30 preset stations, an FM transmitter, line-out for connecting to audio sources, and comes with a full vehicle kit for mounting in your car, truck, or 50-foot yacht. The Sirius Sportster 5 weighs 3.7-ounches and will be available this Fall for $170.

Pioneer put their AVIC-X3 on sale in France. AVIC-X3 is a GPS that boasts a DVD player and a 7-inches touchscreen. It comes with TMC receiver, over 1.5 million interest points (in 26 european countries for this version), and it has the iPod and video games consoles compatibility. The system is equipped with the multi sensor technology for the navigation so you won’t got lost when you in subways. The Pioneer AVIC-X3 will be available in September, no words on pricing.

Sony XAV-W1 is the first Super Audio CD-based (SA-CD) car audio/video system. It is Sony’s first double din-sized visual entertainment system for the car. It comes with a 7-inch video screen with WVGA TFT high-end standard for picture quality. This stereo is capable of playing the proprietary Sony format in 5.1-channel surround sound and supports Dolby Digital surround sound and DTS Digital Surround Processing playback and also the JPEG format, WMA and MP3 audio formats. The Sony Super Audio CD-compatible XAV-W1 car audio is available sometime this month for $800, enjoy CDs, DVD videos and Super Audio CDs in your car.

Kenwood has released the DPX-U77, a car stereo. It supports MP3, WMA, AAC and WMV DRM playback. DPX-U77 has a USB port for you to plug in your iPod or other music player. Of course, it also has the AM/FM radio and Compact Discs player. The Kenwood DPX-U77 is available in Japan now for 39,900 Yen which is around $336 after conversion.
