Playing the computer billiard is much easier than the real one as it has the degrees lines and aims to assist you on the screen. But today, the real billiard has that lining too, Georgia Tech’s own Justin Needham and Matthew Straub have made the Digitally Assisted Billiards. It works just like the computer billiard game, giving a degree in our eyes in the real billiard game, cheat!!! The whole thing works with an eBox 2300 embedded computer, Logitech webcam, 4- x 3-foot mirror, a VGA projector, pool table and a few extenders. Video after the break. Read more…

Something goes interesting today, someone replaced the brain of Xbox 360 with an old Apple PowerBook G4. This casemod is done by Modder Phil Herlihy and he decided on the name Xbox G4. The system is powered by 867MHz G4 processor and features a built-in 60GB hard drive. There’s no way to get the Xbox DVD tray working, so an Apple Combo drive was installed at the side of the console which require a cut at the side. Oh yeah it can be run on a rechargeable battery which I think that’s cool. More pictures after the break. Read more…
