A Dutch Android-tablet coming this December?

There have been a lot of Android tablets floating around lately, but those powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 sure are rare. This time around, it’s coming from an unknown “Deutsch” company called E-Noa. Their new Interpad is a 10-inch capacitive multitouch Android 2.1 slate powered by Nvidia’s dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 T20 chip. For a dual-core tablet it sure is ‘reasonable’ for the €399 ($518) asking price. E-Noa is preparing for a Christmas launch at the end of this year.

A-Data fork out a good looking eSATA flash drive

July 27th, 2010

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit

Frankly speaking, A-Data is not a common name when it comes to thumb drives, perhaps due to the popularity of popular brands like Kingston, Corsair, Apacer, and Pendriv. Though, I really love their speedy rams. Previously we don’t find it common to have eSATA thumb drives because you’ll need a SuperSpeed socket to provide power. But now with the popular eSATA + USB 2.0 combo port found on many notebooks and netbooks, thumb drive manufacturers are able to produce eSATA thumb drives to provide near-USB3.0 speeds for notebooks that don’t have USB 3.0.

They would hate to wear huge full-size headphones out to the public because the headphones messed with their hair. But now, famous audio product maker Audio-Technica has solved that problem, with two new models. One for those with hair and one for those without hair.

Lexar’s 128GB thumb drive backup your files swiftly

This comes as a thumb drive that might cost you your limb. Lexar has refreshed their Echo SE flash drive lineup with a whooping 128GB edition. But unlike your typical Kingston flash drive, this Echo drive continuously backup your computer’s files without needing activation. The build-in software will automatically sync all your important in-use files into the thumb drive, and it works on both Windows and Macintosh platform. But then, this amazing auto-backup thumb drive will cost you literally $349.99. Yeah, that’s a lot to back up your files without needing a single activation button. But if you really need such ‘genius’ service, then be my guess, and head over to Amazon or Newegg and grab one. Just don’t go and sell your limb while you’re at it.

India's government launches $35 Linux-based slate device

The India’s government has finally finished their rough development for their home ground slate pc, named the ‘Sakshat’. It means ‘In Reality’ in India. The Sakshat is actually a very amazing low-budget slate aimed for the students of India. It’s amazing because the Sakshat was initially planned for a $10 retail price, and went into many hurdles and challenges along the way, which made it rather not feasible to see the light of days. But now, it’s out in retail for India, though with a market price of $35, it’s still a good price despite not being able to meet its targeted price. Read more…

Hp Slate 500 spec leaked.

HP’s own website has a piece of info regarding their upcoming HP Slate. It’s going to be powered by a 1.6GHz processor, presumably an Intel Atom processor. Memory will be 1GB, which seemed sufficient for light browsing and movie watching, as the Apple’s iPad only have 256GB of RAM. It’s going to be 8.9 inch with touch screen support, and there’s going to be two cameras, one at the front and one at the back presumably. The Slate will be running on Windows 7 Premium, and it’s certified by Energy Star. What’s unknown right now is whether its display is capacitive touch or not, and how does the battery life score.
