The SCPH-90000 CR or the red PlayStation 2 will hit Japan this July 3. This new SCPH-900 series was released last year in December. It has a built-in power supple and weighs at a mere 720 grams. Sony has unveiled a new color for their current PSP. The PSP will be available on August 12th this year at the price of $200. This portable game console will come together with Madden 09, “NFL: In Just One Play” on UMD, a 1GB Memory Stick, and a downloadable PSP game known as Beats. Yeehaa! I’m not getting one. Oh yeah, don’t forget the Crazy Deal for PSP on June 18th.

Nintendo is going to released new colors for its DS this summer with new additions of lime green, ice blue, and hot red. It will hit the States and also Europe by June 13th. US pricing is still unknown but for Europe it will around $90. Original color still the best, anyone agree with me?

Microsoft announced on Wednesday that its Xbox 360 game console beat the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 to reach 10 million units in U.S. sales.

“History has shown us that the first company to reach 10 million in console sales wins the generation battle,” Don Mattrick, a Microsoft senior vice president who heads the company’s Xbox business, said in a statement.

The Xbox 360 was launched in US in November 2005 and the PS3 and Wii were launched a year in US a year later. According to market research firm NPD, the Wii is closing in on the Xbox 360 with 8.8 million units sold as of the end of March while Sony has hit 4.1 million on its PS3. Microsoft also said their Xbox Live online service has hit up to 12 million members. So guys, which is your best of console from that 3.
