Good news to all Wii owners. Due to the success of Wii game console, Nintendo has launched WiiWare, a software service for games. Wii owners who have their console connect to the internet will be able to download games from both large developers and small shops. Looks like Nintendo is ready to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade and Sony’s PlayStation Store.
“By reducing the barriers that make console game development prohibitively expensive,” the company said, “WiiWare showcases original ideas in the most democratic environment in industry history.

Here’s an alligator-themed 360 covered a lizard-textured skin, and has a realistic alligator eyeball in place of its power switch. Alright, no actual alligators were harmed in the making of this console. Looks like the RRod (Red Ring of Death) issue is going to be solved soon, Mr. Rumor said that there’s probably a new Xbox 360 soon in few months. The new version of Microsoft’s game console codenamed Jasper will first utilize both 65nm GPU and CPU. With the 65nm chips the console should run cooler and quieter than the current 360s. Mr. Rumor said you will be able to see these on shelves in August this year.

Kyle Downes has finally completed his Giant NES Controller which can be used as a real controller, coffee table and storage box. That’s awesome and that’s some thing you can’t get in store. I followed my friend to the game shop last week and I spotted this, the 7-inch TFT LCD monitor for Wii. It’s not from Nintendo of course and also different from the one posted before.
